This porcelain pendant is inspired by so-called lover's eye jewelry, which was very fashionable in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. At that time, elegant British aristocrats wore painted miniatures depicting the eye of their spouse or lover, an intimate symbol of love, fidelity, and secret bond.
Reinterpreted in a delicate and timeless form, this creation pays homage to this romantic and mysterious tradition, where a simple glance was enough to tell a love story.
